This week we encourage you to think about your own organization with a focus on “Myth or Reality.” We’ve given a couple of examples below and wonder where you and your organization find the myth or the reality, in regards to accountability  and performance.

Organizational Myth:
Most organizations do not struggle because people are incapable.
Organizational Reality:
They struggle because expectations, consistency, and accountability are unclear.

High-performing teams are not built by the myth of applying extreme pressure for optimum performance.

• SUSTAINABLE results

When accountability and performance are weak, the experience often sounds like:
“We keep having the same conversations and things are not changing.”

When accountability and performance strengthen, the shift becomes:
“Our team understands expectations, follows through consistently, and supports one another in achieving results.”

This is the work.
