Congratulations to Sterling Blom, Richard Garcia, Abby van Klaveren and Reese Gonzalves, (FYW 2020 Alumni) who received their American Degree from the National FFA Organization at the annual Convention in Indianapolis Indiana.

The American FFA Degree is the highest level of achievement in the National FFA Organization.

It reflects a member’s dedication to their chapter and state FFA association. The American FFA Degree demonstrates their effort and ability through their supervised agricultural experience project, showing competence and success in an agricultural venture and/or work experience. The recipient must also exhibit outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement throughout their FFA career.

The American FFA Degree is a gold standard for recipients and shows great promise for their future in agriculture.

Congratulations to Hartley Silva (FYW 2021 Alumni) who received the National Proficiency Award in the area of Dairy Production Entrepreneurship at the FFA National Convention. This award honors FFA members who have developed a specialized skill that they can apply towards their future career. The award is decided upon through Supervised Agricultural Experience project and FFA experiences. We are proud of Shianne Omlin who was a national proficiency finalist, as well.

We congratulate our students on these wonderful accomplishments. More importantly, we are so proud of who they are and who they will continue to become in their lifetime. They are experiencing amazing times in their post High School years and are supported by their families, friends and our Find Your WHY leadership.

We are thrilled to announce our Find Your WHY program has received its 501(C)(3) status from the IRS. What does this mean for FYW? It means that all of your contributions to our FYW program are tax deductible. It means that we can receive Corporate Sponsorship. Also, it means that we can apply for grants, which will continue to provide for our FYW students and further growth of our FYW program. So much more good work, great life experiences, meaningful intentions realized and passions lived out through the FYW program in the present and in the future for all.
