Find Your Why Students Celebrate Learning

The above words were used to describe the feelings our FYW students experienced at the end of our FIND YOUR WHY Winter Seminar via Zoom, as we CELEBRATED our learning together.

Our teens were ENGAGED in building their personal capacity to know themselves well by reflecting on their Myers/Briggs personality preferences. They have been fully CONNECTED in learning more about who they are and how their personality influences their decision-making and their outcomes.

The students learned further by utilizing their listening, communication and decision-making skill sets, as they processed their group case study, synthesized their group’s ability to arrive at a consensus and understand the impact their decision would have on others. The outcome provided self-awareness in how our students felt internally and externally with their individual and group learning.  

Our dialogue went DEEPER as students were put into pairs in breakout rooms to discuss where they feel safe, who they feel safe to process their decisions with and how to make decisions that are true to who they are.

Overall, it was an incredible day of having a sense of BELONGING, building STRONG relationships and ENGAGING with others who are wonderfully SUPPORTIVE.
