Our intention in leading TC&A and offering our weekly newsletter, ‘Your Choice,’ is to be a POSITIVE voice, influence and support to YOU. 

We tend to communicate the high points, the good things and the joy filled moments as We have always believed, the focus needs to be on our clients – what YOU need for your journey of learning, growth and development.

Yet, as we all have in our lives, there are behind the scenes realities of crisis, emergencies and the feeling of things being out of our control that we have experienced individually, as a family and as a business over the last 10 years. We know you have had your own versions of real-life crisis, emergencies and feeling that things are out of your control. Every situation, challenge and crisis taught us to have this mindset…

As Chelsea and I were reflecting further for the newsletter this week – Our intention is to give you our human glimpse of realities we faced professionally and personally, while TC&A was in the new birth / start-up phase, growth and development phases and keeping the business from going into entropy (many of you know this as the Sigmoid Curve) over the past 10 years. We’ve also put words that were meaningful during each year that supported us through the challenges, changes and creation. Below is a snapshot of behind the scenes for TC&A. It is how we chose (and will continue to choose) to overcome our challenges, be responsible for our realities and build a business we love and envision for our future and yours.”

 2016

Beyond Crisis to Resilience:

A loss of job for Tess led to being resilient and founding TC&A.

2017

Beyond Crisis to Peace:

We laid Tess’ father and both of Chelsea’s grandfathers to rest. We celebrated their lives with great love, which brought us peace. TC&A launched “The Leadership Blueprint – Becoming the Architect of Your Life and Work.” An encouragement that life and grief can co-exist. 

2018

Beyond Crisis to Commitment: 

Care-giving for Tess’ mother and growing TC&A with one-on-one leadership coaching, team building and seminars. A commitment to values personally and professionally. 

2019

Beyond Crisis to the Ability to Rise Above: 

Loss of another family member and another celebration with love. ​“The Family Strong Blueprint” was launched with a focus on honoring family. Writing has always been a part of TC&A, which supports us rising above all challenges and difficult times. 

2020

Beyond Crisis to Calm:

 TC&A was a part of maintaining calm on behalf of the organizations we served during the COVID-19 pandemic. The leadership coaching brought sustainability as employees transitioned to working from home and learned how to be productive remotely.

2021

Beyond Crisis to Growth: 

The continued challenges of clients working from home. TC&A enters into offering a global leadership coaching program with “The Engagement Blueprint”. There is an emphasis on the importance of a growth and learning and mindset no matter what the external circumstances bring.

2022

Beyond Crisis to Safety: 

A time of economic and financial challenges and uncertainty for the businesses we serve. TC&A supports clients by providing a safe environment to process layers of complexity in the workplace within leadership coaching. 

2023

Beyond Crisis to Sustainability:

A new and steep learning curve when client contracts change dramatically. TC&A was instrumental in crisis management within the businesses they served. There was a profound and transformational learning curve for TC&A and decisions made for greater sustainability.  

 2024

Beyond Crisis Transformation: 

Leading clients through transformational change and embracing community involvement highlighted the importance of evolving personally and professionally. ​ Tess and Chelsea move out of business comfort zones. 

2025

Beyond Crisis to Continued Learning: 

Maintaining a growth mindset and curiosity is the mindset of TC&A. To continue learning new things, staying curious and open to new ideas has provided greater opportunities for TC&A to continuously improve and bring innovative tools to clients. Stay tuned for Next Level Leadership Tools!
